Project Overview

Better Angels was a stand alone role-playing game created by author and designer Greg Stolze. The game is a twist on super heroes that can either become really dark or really silly since the focus is on playing "Eeeeevil" super villains.

With this product line I was given a lot of freedom to explore the design and after receiving the first pieces of art, I knew I wanted to take this in a very colorful, silver-age comics direction complete with speech bubbles and CMYK halftones. Additionally, to facilitate easy referencing, each chapter is given its own color that can easily be distinguished, even while the book is closed.
