Logos Overview
Logos and logotypes are always some of the most fun pieces to design; I enjoy exploring letter forms and how they inform a product or brand's feeling. My approach to designing them depends on how the logo will be used and where it is coming from.
For board games the art and the style of gameplay informs their design and for internal or corporate logos a strict proposal is usually followed. For businesses I have small questionnaire that each client fills out that includes questions like; "what is your target market?", "describe your brand as a person", and "what piece of furniture is your business?". Strange questions like those allow me a deeper insight into what a client thinks about their store/brand/business and often provides more information than dry questions alone.
